Device for automatic, hydromechanical cleaning in foam tubes and now also in foam pot lids of protein skimmers.
By using our moist mechanical system, using our own water, the absorption performance of your skimmer becomes almost constantly efficient. The unpleasant manual cleaning can be neglected for many weeks.
Our performance-optimized, new foam pot cleaner is suitable for most cylindrical foam pots. The installation is possible without any modifications to the skimmer. The original lid of your skimming block is replaced with the SkimClean HELIX lid, the vertical wipe mechanism is set to your foam tube diameter, time control is programmed and your new cleaning system is ready for use. We recommend 2 cleaning intervals per day for the time of 10-20 sec.

The self-priming rotary pump, now with a double nozzle, significantly supports the simultaneous mechanical cleaning process. For example, deposited absorbency residues are very effectively released and rectified moist/mechanically. A constant surface tension, due to natural water use, enables an uninterrupted and highly effective skimming process.
All components are made of high quality materials on in-house CNC machines and are hand-assembled.

The main advantages of a foam tube that is always cleaned are:
- maximized skimming performance without performance-bringing protein deposits
- no annoying cleaning work at short intervals
- fully automated and programmable cleaning intervals

Thanks to the drive unit of the SkimClean HELIX, your skimmer will only become about 40 mm higher.
You buy a complete lid, equipped with the new double-acting system, consisting of a vertical and horizontal wipe mechanism, supported by the self-priming, double rotary pump and nozzle system.
